VCI Internet Services - Referral Policy

Effective July 1, 1999 a $15 credit will be applied to the account of anyone who refers a new customer per month. The new customer must be a first-time customer of VCI and must pay for at least 1 full month of internet access. The new customer must mention they were referred in the initial contact with VCI. (Credits may be used toward internet services, however no payments or refunds will be issued to a customer who terminates their VCI account.)

Customer Referral Program Rules and Procedures

OBJECTIVE: The Customer Referral Program is designed to reward active customers with accounts in good standing for recommending VCI Internet Services to potential new customers.

The new customer must call VCI directly at (270) 442-0060 or (800) 755-1239 to sign up for service and must mention the customer who referred them to VCI when signing up for service.

The new customer must be a first-time user of VCI Internet services and must pay for at least 1 full month of Internet access. (1/2 month pro-rated charges do not qualify).

The referring account must be active and in good standing. Referral Credits will not be applied to inactive accounts.

Referral Credits may be used for the purchase of VCI Internet Services only. There will be no refunds issued in the event a referring account is terminated with a credit balance due to referral credits.

A New Customer Report is printed on the 16th of every month and is used to determine Referral credits for the previous calendar month. A $15 referral credit will be applied to the referring account provided that the new customer has paid for a minimum of 1 full month of Internet services before this report is printed. All new Customers are required to remit payment for first month service within 7 business days. This procedure ensures that the new account has had at least a full 15 day grace period to submit payment for Internet Services before being reviewed for referral credit. Referral Credits will be reflected on the statements printed on the 20th of the month following the calendar month of new sign-ups. Referral credits will not be applied before this time!
