WebWatch for Homes
Pornographic and other questionable content on the internet is a very serious problem that many of us take for granted, or just simply don't know about. It's affecting our everyday life, infiltrating our families and marriages, and corrupting the morals of our children and ourselves. It exposes business, schools and organizations of all kinds to the potential of serious litigation.
With VCI's WebWatch Filtering Service you can ensure that your children are not intentionally or accidentally browsing harmful web sites. If a child tries to access a web site containing questionable material (related to one of the categories below) they receive a web page explaining the web page contains questionable material and is blocked. If an adult is trying to view the questionable material he/she can simply type in the "filter password" and override the filtering. Our WebWatch Filtering Service is 99% effective and to ensure it continues to be effective it is updated daily.
We have one screenshot our of WebWatch Service available. Click here to view it.
To signup for WebWatch a form must be completed and mailed to VCI. The form has an option that allows you to specify a "filter password". The filter password is used to override, or turn off, the filtering service. If you do not want the ability to override the filtering service simply leave the password blank. When we receive the completed form we will enable your filtering service and send you an email at your vci.net email address notifying you that your filtering has been enabled. If you need the notification sent to another email address please specify that address.
If you are an existing VCI customer and would like to signup for WebWatch email admin@vci.net to request a copy of the signup form.
