    CallWave is a service offered by CallWave, Inc. This service is not included with your VCI service.     1. Download and install the CallWave software from CallWave
    2. After you have installed and configured the CallWave software CallWave's web site will ask you for your name and which type of service you would like. CallWave will contact your local phone company to add "Forward on Busy" to your phone line. As noted by CallWave's installation you may notice an additional charge on your phone bill for the "Forward on Busy" service.
    3. Customer's that have Call Waiting on their phone line will need to add *70, (star seven zero comma) to the beginning of the VCI phone number their computer dials. This helps ensure that your CallWave service will work properly.
    4. After your local phone company has installed the "Forward on Busy" service you should start receiving calls with your new CallWave service.

    Alternative

    Some customers prefer to use their cell phone instead of CallWave to receive calls while online. To use your cellphone to receive phone calls while you are online you'll simply need to call your phone company (not the cell phone company) and instruct them to place the "Forward on Busy" service on your phone line. Give the phone company representative your cell phone number. If you have Call Waiting you will need to use the *70, (star seven zero comma) when dialing the internet in order for the calls to be forwarded. This method allows you to receive calls on your cell phone while you are on the internet. Calls forwarded to your cell phone will be applied to your cell phone's calling plan.
