Wild Wisk Kay CD, JH, VC, CGC "April" our foundation bitch and 1st
Irish, started it all for us. On this page you will meet her and some of
her get. April is a great hunting dog that was easy to train, she loves
to retrieve on land or water and will work for hours and only we decide
she should rest.
April was the 1st
Irish in the state of Maryland to earn both AKC Field Champion titles.
She has been on TV doing demo's at the elementary school, and has done
modeling jobs for Washingtonian Magazine. April is an approved therapy
dog for the elderly, children and the mentally ill. She loves people especially
children. She has earned her agility degree and has completed a 60 obstacle military
K-9 coarse which includes scaling a 6 ft wall, underground tunnels,
8 ft high cat walks and her favorite is the sliding board at the park.
She earned her obedience title easily. And her VC (Versatility Certificate)
is a title offered by the Irish Setter Club of America, (3 passes in breed,
obedience and field). In 1996 April won RU Field Matron of the Year. During
her last litter of puppies she developed diabetes and lost her eye sight.
5 month later she earned her 6th AKC title. April is a very special girl,
her offspring are turning out as smart and trainable. Stay and meet April's
