| With a variety of acoustical spaces and a great natural
sound, the spacious (32'x36') Studio "A" is designed to be acoustically and
aesthetically pleasing. The specially designed wall treatment and decor produce an
atmosphere our clients refer to as "comfortable, relaxed" and "home-like
but larger".
A Jessie French baby grand piano graces the center of the room while off to one side,
the house drum set sits ready with microphones in place. |

Our approach to recording is simple, with as direct as possible
path between our selection of high quality microphones (Neuman, Sennheiser, AKG ) and the
24 track TASCAM DA-88 digital recorders in the control room.

Control Room "A" is designed from the ground up, in
materials, size (21x21) and shape, to be an excellent listing environment. The JBL
4412A monitor speakers, powered by Halfer Amps, produce a broad and accurate stereo image.
While outboard processors such as Lexicon PCM-70 and DBX-226 can shape the sound to your
liking, the computer-automated TASCAM M3700 mixing console makes it easy to get just the
right mix.
The perfected mix is then captured with digital precision on the Panasonic SC-3700 DAT
stereo Master recorder. |
We can also turn your DAT session into a Compact Disc so that
you can take your music and share with your friends and family. With computer
automation, we can read, write, and generate SMPTE or MIDI time code to synchronize with
film, video, or MIDI devices. From a 30 second radio spot to a
full-length CD project, Trusty Tuneshop stands ready for anything.
