VirusWatch
VirusWatch is a free service included with each VCI email account to help protect our customer's computers from virus infection. This service is installed on each VCI mail server. As an email that passes thru the VCI mail servers it is scanned for viruses. If a virus is detected the email is quarantined for later examination. Notifications are NOT sent to the recipient or sender of the virus due to complications with the methods modern viruses use to replicate.
Like all modern virus detection software, our mail servers obtain virus pattern updates in order to detect the latest viruses. Our virus detection software is updated each night.
