Changing The Phone Number

Windows XP

1. Click Start
2. Go to "Connect To" and right click the VCI connection
3. Click Properties
4. Remove the check from "Use dialing rules".
5. Ensure you have the appropriate phone number entered for your city in the "Telephone Number" section
6. If your telephone line has Call Waiting and you'd like to disable it while you are on the internet please add *70, (star seven zero comma) to the beginning of the Telephone Number.
7. After you have the proper phone number installed click OK at the bottom.
